Holiday Displays on Public Property - Administrative Policy
From time to time in the past the Town of Surfside has been approached to place holiday symbols (i.e. decorated trees, Menorah, snowman, snow flake) on public property. Anyone who wishes to display an appropriate symbol of the season, may come forward and they will be given an opportunity to the extent possible (limited by physical space) to participate in a display on designated Town property. If there are costs associated with the display such as the need for police services or electricity etc., they will be charged “at cost only” to the person or entity sponsoring the exhibit.
