Town Attorney, Lynn M. Dannheisser
Ms. Dannheisser is an experienced municipal attorney who has worked
in both the private and public sectors specializing in all areas of
municipal, land use, and real estate law. She has served as counsel for
several private-public joint ventures in South Florida. Having assisted
in its incorporation (as well as the formation of two other cities in
Miami-Dade County), Lynn served for eight years as city attorney for
the City of Sunny Isles Beach, FL, where she drafted some of the most
progressive and innovative municipal regulations in the State. Lynn
also served as city attorney for the Village of Pinecrest and the City
of South Miami. She is also recognized for her specialized work in the
drafting of charters for several municipalities. Most recently, she was
appointed and served as a member of the Miami-Dade County Charter
Review Task Force. Ms. Dannheisser has more than twenty-five years of
private and public sector legal experience. She has been named one of
the top women in commercial real estate by the South Florida Business
Journal and she is a published author.
Lynn is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and
University of California, A.B., with honors. She is also the proud
mother of two grown children, Matthew, a musician and high school
teacher, and Samantha, a college student, both of whom live in South
Florida.
