The Surfside Recreation Department operates a number of town facilities and a wide range of community programs. Facilities include Hawthorne Park, Surfside Park, Surfside Tennis Courts, Surfside Veterans Park, and the town's unique oceanfront Community Center and its public pools, meeting rooms, auditorium, and beach area. The Recreation Department sponsors special events, adult education classes, dances for residents and tourists of all ages, concerts, holiday celebrations, and special projects designed to provide entertainment, education, and recreation for all town residents and visitors.
The Recreation Department is led by Parks and Recreation Director, Tim Milian, and its office is located at the
Community Center at 9301 Collins Avenue. The office is open 7 days a week from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM. For more

Please be advised that the Community Center Pool will be CLOSED and all Swim Lessons will be CANCELLED until further notice.
The Recreation Department is currently planning and developing new and exciting programs for the members of our community. To assist them with their programming & scheduling ideas they would like to hear from Surfside residents.
