Ballet Class

Ages: 6 – 10

Resident $40 / Non-Resident $70
Per child 7 weeks = 7 classes
Children will learn 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Position. Basic Port De Bras (carriage of the arms), Skipping backwards and forwards, Basic center floor and work on the Ballet Barre. A strong emphasis will be on posture and poise.

Pre-School Ballet Class

The Pre-School Ballet class will cover the fundamentals of ballet movements. Children will earn passé’ pile skipping first and second positions, dancing across the floor, walking on tippy toes along with proper posture and grace, under the instruction of Jessica Wolland.

Kidokinetics Tot Program

Ages: 2 - 4

Resident $64 / Non-Resident $80
(per child 8 weeks = 8 classes)
This class is a high energy, active class for your little ones. Introducing them to sports and making fitness fun while setting the pace for them in years to come. This class will help your child develop coordination, concentration, and motor skills, while having fun in a safe, non-competitive environment. Every week your child will learn about a different sport. Activities include soccer, hockey, basketball, hula hoops, bean bag skills, football, tennis, t-ball, obstacle courses, golf and much more. Don’t miss the FUN! Free T-Shirt with 1st time enrollment. Note: Registration in Progress. Classes will be held in the Community Center Auditorium.

Youth Instructional Soccer Program

Participants will learn the fundamentals of soccer to include dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control, soccer game rules, scrimmage games, and many other skills. Head Coach will be Gabriel Alves from Cyclone Soccer Inc. Fees include shin guards and practice t-shirt. Balls will be provided at each practice. Note: Program will be held at 96th Street Park.

Jump Rope

Ages: 7 and Up

Resident $45 / Non-Resident $72
per child 10 weeks = 18 classes
Please Note: The Jump Rope Program also has an annual Registration Fee of $50 which includes AAU membership, USA Jump Rope membership, a Hurricane Jumpers T-Shirt and one jump rope. Checks should be made payable to: Hurricane Team

Classes are designed to inspire and motivate physical fitness through jump rope as a lifetime sport. The beginner Jump Rope Program will be used as a feeder program for the Competitive Jump Rope Team is by invitation only.

Join the fun with this instructional Arts & Crafts program for kids. Children will create projects with paper, fabric, and other age appropriate media. Classes are taught by certified teachers.
