A career in law enforcement can be rewarding, exciting, and at times difficult and challenging.

The Law Enforcement Explorers Program provides youth with an opportunity to work side by side with Police Officers and observe the internal functions of the Police Department. Police Officers teach and advise the Explorers in many aspects of police work.

Police Explorer Post #0025 is under the auspice of Learning for Life and is sponsored by the Surfside Police Department.

If you are 14 to 21 years of age and feel you may be interested in a Law Enforcement career, we invite you to become a Surfside Police Explorer. Simply complete the attached application and return it to the Surfside Police Department. You must pass a background investigation and a six month probationary period. We look forward to seeing you in the future.
