Mosquito Control and Protection

The hot summer weather brings an increase of mosquitoes in South Florida.  On Tuesday, August 6, 2019, the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) reported the season's first locally-acquired case of dengue in Miami-Dade County, and on Friday, August 23, 2019, the FDOH confirmed a third case of dengue fever of local transmission in a Miami-Dade County resident.  For further information, please refer to the latest news release issued by the Florida Department of Health on August 23, 2019: DOH - Mosquito-Borne Advisory, Miami-Dade - 08.23.2019
