Town Unveils Beach Fitness Equipment

The Town of Surfside recently unveiled new beach fitness equipment to make exercising more accessible and fun. The equipment grand opening ceremony was held at 94th Street Beach on April 28 at 10 a.m., with Mayor Shlomo Danzinger, Vice Mayor Jeffrey Rose, Commissioner Fred Landsman, Commissioner Marianne Meischeid, and Commissioner Nelly Velasquez all in attendance. 
This new addition to the Town's beach amenities will allow residents, visitors and tourists to engage in a range of exercises and fitness activities. The equipment has been installed on the beach hardpack and includes a range of workout options such as pull-up bars, Legpress, and Step Around. There is a total of five stations throughout the Surfside Beach entrances.

The Town's Commissioners and Mayor expressed their enthusiasm for the project and highlighted its importance in promoting healthy lifestyles and community engagement. Providing residents and visitors with accessible, engaging, and enjoyable fitness options.

The installation of this equipment is part of the Town's ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of life for its residents and visitors. Surfside has always been known for its beautiful beaches, and now with the addition of the new fitness equipment, it will become an even more attractive destination for fitness enthusiasts.
