2022 Ballot Questions Community Workshops

Town staff and representatives from FPL, Dr. Ted Kury, Director of Energy Studies for the Public Utility Research Center (PURC) at the University of Florida and a Sunny Isles Beach administrator, will be available to provide more information on the ballot questions. Presentations will be the same on both days. Please note, Dr. Kury will only be available for the March 2 Zoom workshop.

Hedges on Single-Family Residential Lots

Shall the Charter be amended to prohibit any limitation on the height of hedges in single-family lots to less than six (6) feet?

This ballot question would allow for an amendment to the Town Charter creating a section prohibiting the restriction of hedge height on single-family lots, subject to vision requirements.
