Town of Surfside Unveils 'Seaside Soiree': A Coastal Gathering
The Town of Surfside is thrilled to announce its exciting new event series, "Seaside Soiree," set to take place this fall on Oct. 15, Nov. 12, and Dec. 3. This series promises an enchanting blend of beachside fun activities, a sampling of local bites,
captivating musical performances and engaging activities for all ages. "Seaside Soiree" is poised to become a cherished tradition for residents and a captivating attraction for tourists and visitors.
Mayor Shlomo Danzinger, Commission liaison to the Tourist Board, expressed his excitement about the event, saying, "I'm proud to see our Tourist Board lead the way in creating new experiences for our visitors and community for the fall months. Their innovative
spirit not only breathes new life into our beloved town but also ensures that every person, whether local or visitor, is met with a tapestry of unforgettable moments. Through their unwavering dedication, the Tourist Board is painting a canvas of vibrant
and inclusive experiences, inviting all to partake in the magic that Surfside has to offer.”
Hosted at the beautiful 93rd Street beach near the Surfside Community Center, "Seaside Soiree" will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on each of the event dates. Attendees can look forward to a wide array of attractions including beach games such as badminton
and volleyball as well as paddleball, tantalizing local bites, arts and crafts for kids, and a DJ.
Town Manager Hector Gomez added, “Surfside is known as a beach community and destination. Celebrating our coastal lifestyle is what this event is all about.”
Eli Tourgeman, Chair of the Surfside Tourist Board, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, saying, "Surfside is renowned for its picturesque beaches, and 'Seaside Soiree' is a fantastic addition to our diverse lineup of events. It's an opportunity
for everyone to experience the magic of our Town and create unforgettable memories."
Alan Andai, a longtime Surfside resident and President of AA Musicians and Beachside Events, is the driving force behind the "Seaside Soiree." Alan expressed
his commitment to making this event series an unforgettable experience for all, stating, "Surfside holds a special place in my heart, and I am thrilled to bring the 'Seaside Soiree' to our community. We have curated a fantastic lineup of activities
and entertainment that will resonate with everyone who attends."
