TOWN OF SURFSIDE
PUBLIC NOTICE

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE TOWN OF SURFSIDE, FLORIDA WILL HOST A MAYORAL FORUM ON THURSDAY, MARCH 1, 2018 AT 6:30 PM AT 9293 HARDING AVENUE, SECOND FLOOR COMMISSION CHAMBERS, SURFSIDE, FLORIDA. QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN PERSON BETWEEN 6:00 AND 6:30 PM.

The Forum will be conducted by the League of Women Voters of Miami Dade with Susannah Nesmith, Investigator for the Miami-Dade County Commission on Ethics and Public Trust, serving as moderator.

The two candidates for Mayor, Daniel Dietch and Victor May, will answer questions posed by the audience. You must submit questions in advance between 6:00 and 6:30 pm. Questions can be submitted via email to [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on March 1, 2018.  The questions will be reviewed by the League of Women Voters. Each candidate will be given a brief time for introduction and then two minutes to respond. If a candidate wishes to rebut the required time will come from the answers to the next question. The actual Forum will begin at 6:30 pm and will be televised on Channel 93.

In accordance with the ADA persons with disabilities requiring accommodations in order to participate in this public event should contact the Office of the Town Clerk at (305) 861-4863 no later than two business days prior to such proceedings.

Please note that one or more members of the Town Commission or any Town Board may be present at this meeting.
