Visit Surfside is thrilled to introduce Snow Moon Soirée, a new signature event designed to showcase the very best of our coastal community in one spectacular weekend in partnership with local event producer, ReLeaf Designs. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Community Center and 93rd Street beach, this immersive, two-day celebration brings together art, entertainment, and seaside charm for a truly unforgettable winter escape.
Event Entry: Please note that all activities within the Community Center are limited to registered Surfside hotel guests or Town residents with ID. Entry restricted, no exceptions. Surfside residents do not need to pre-register for the White Party, but must check in with ID at entry point. Food & drink tickets are limited and available while supplies last. Some activities to be held on the beach are open to the general public, see schedule information below.
SNOW MOON WHITE PARTY - Saturday, January 31 | 7–10 p.m.
A white party under the winter Snow Moon featuring a large-scale sand sculpture created on the beach, live mermaids and fire dancers, live music from Two-Time Grammy Nominated and award winning singer/songwriter Elsten Torres and DJ, a curated selection of elevated coastal small plates and desserts, and the Snow Moon Spritz, a sparkling cocktail inspired by the season. Pre-registration not required.

SUNDAY PROGRAM - February 1 | 10 a.m. Start
The celebration continues with a fun, family-friendly day by the ocean featuring a hands-on sand sculpting workshop on the beach, mermaiding lessons in the pool, surfing and aqua Zumba, garden barbeque and children’s treasure hunt. We will close out the weekend together on the beach with sunset yoga and a sound bath, as the full Snow Moon rises over the Atlantic.
10 a.m. - Noon - Sand Sculpting Workshop @ 93rd Street Beach
Open to the general public. Join us Sunday morning for a hands-on sand sculpting workshop led by a professional sculptor, designed for families, kids, and adults of all ages. Participants will learn simple sand sculpting techniques, work together to create collaborative builds, and enjoy a playful, creative beach experience. No experience needed—just curiosity, imagination, and a willingness to get sandy.
Noon - 2 p.m. Plastic Fisherman "Trasher Hunt" Open to the public
@PlasticFisherman turns a beach cleanup into a fun, community treasure hunt for all ages — as you help remove plastic pollution from the shoreline, keep your eyes open for “Golden Trash” hidden along the sand and collect it for prizes. Grand prize is a mountain bike! It’s part cleanup, part adventure, and all about protecting our ocean and celebrating community impact together.
1 - 3 p.m. - Surfing Discovery Clinic - Must RSVP. Surfside residents & hotel guests only
The Surfing Discovery Clinic introduces beginners (kids and adults) to the basics of surfing in a fun, supportive beach setting. Participants will learn ocean safety, balance, and board fundamentals while gaining confidence in the water under the guidance of experienced instructors. No prior surfing experience is required.
5 p.m. Beach Sunset Yoga and Snow Moonrise Sound Bath - Open to the general public
Close out the weekend with a gentle sunset beach yoga session followed by a calming sound healing experience as the Snow Moon rises. The sound bath uses soothing instruments such as singing bowls and gongs to create vibrations that encourage deep relaxation, stress release, and a meditative state.

Noon - 2 p.m. Garden BBQ and Rita's Ice (limited to the first 150 residents/ registered hotel guests). Fuel your Sunday Snow Moon adventure with casual beach-friendly food and an ice treat!
Community Center Pool
11 a.m. - Noon - Aqua Zumba Join our instructors for an upbeat Aqua Zumba session in the pool, combining dance-inspired movement with the resistance of water for a fun, low-impact workout. The class is accessible for a wide range of ages and fitness levels and focuses on moving, laughing, and enjoying the water together.
1 - 3 p.m. Mermaiding lessons (any gender, ages 7-99) - RSVP Required, limited space (register through link above)
Live out your underwater dreams and become a mermaid! Join live mermaids for a playful mermaiding discovery class where participants learn how to swim and move through the water using a mermaid tail. Adult and child-size tails are provided, and swimmers will practice basic mermaid techniques in a fun, supportive pool environment. Ages 7 and up, with limited tails available -- register in advance to reserve your tail and spot in class!

Please note that due to set up and preparations to transform the Community Center for the beautiful new Snow Moon Soirée, hours of operation for the Community Center and pools will be adjusted as follows:

Saturday, Jan. 31: Pools and Community Center will be open until 1pm. The Community Center will be
closed to the public after 1pm except for the beach furniture operation. Residents looking to use the Beach Club must check in at the front window and walk through the public beach access. During the event, the Center’s interior rooms will be closed except for the showers & restrooms hallway.
