Join Us for a Moment of Reflection: Champlain Towers South Memorial Project Moves Forward

The Town invites residents, families and community partners to gather for a Moment of Reflection marking the transition into the next phase of the Champlain Towers South Memorial project. The gathering provides an opportunity to pause, honor those lost and look ahead with shared intention and unity.

As part of this next phase, materials from the Champlain Towers South site have returned to Surfside and are currently being held at Veterans Park pending incorporation into the Memorial. The materials symbolize remembrance, continuity and the enduring connection to those we honor.

The program will include a welcome and invocation, remarks by elected officials, words from family and friends, a moment of reflection, a benediction, and closing remarks. The symbolic gathering allows the community to reflect, honor, and collectively look forward as the project moves ahead.
