TOWN OF SURFSIDE
PUBLIC NOTICE
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE TOWN OF SURFSIDE, FLORIDA WILL HOST A MAYORAL CANDIDATES FORUM ON TUESDAY, MARCH 3, 2026 AT 6:30 PM AT 9293 HARDING AVENUE, SECOND FLOOR COMMISSION CHAMBERS, SURFSIDE, FLORIDA. QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN PERSON BETWEEN 6:00 PM AND 6:30 PM.
The Forum will be conducted by the League of Women Voters of Miami Dade with Terry Murphy, PhD., FIU Professor of Public Affairs, serving as moderator.
The three candidates for Mayor; Mark Blumstein, Shlomo Danzinger and Tina Paul, will answer questions posed by the audience. Questions must be submitted in person between 6:00 and 6:30 pm. Questions can be submitted via email to
[email protected] by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. The questions will be reviewed by the League of Women Voters. Each candidate will be given a brief time for introduction and then time to respond to questions. If a candidate wishes to rebut the required time will come from the answers to the next question. The actual Forum will begin at 6:30 pm and will be televised on Channel 663.

Please note that one or more members of the Town Commission or any Town Board may be present at this event.
