These professionals serve as the foundation of local commissions, holding critical roles and performing key duties that impact communities every day.
In 1984 and again in 1994, Presidents Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton officially declared Municipal Clerks Week the first full week of May, recognizing the significant role municipal clerks play in supporting local governments.
