Town of Surfside Launches "Mondays with Mark" Initiative to Connect with Residents

The Town of Surfside has introduced a new initiative, "Mondays with Mark," designed to foster a stronger connection between the Town Administration and residents. Hosted by Town Manager Mark Blumstein, the series highlights ongoing projects and efforts by the Town Commission and Administration aimed at enhancing the quality of life in Surfside.

In today’s episode, Mark is joined by Andre Eugent, Public Works and Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) Director, to discuss the ongoing project of installing new trellis at the Surfside Community Center. Eugent outlines the project’s objectives, which include improving the center’s aesthetic appeal and providing enhanced shade for residents to enjoy.

"We're committed to improving the amenities that make Surfside such a great place to live," said Eugent. "This new trellis not only beautifies the community center but also offers shade and comfort to residents using the pool deck spaces."

The "Mondays with Mark" series will continue to spotlight various Town initiatives, giving residents a closer look at the hard work and planning that goes into making Surfside a better place for everyone. Stay tuned for future episodes as the Town Manager discusses more exciting updates and opportunities for community engagement.
