The Town of Surfside formally recognized KOFILE, Inc. during the June Commission meeting for their outstanding efforts in preserving heartfelt mementos collected from the Champlain Towers South Wall of Hope. The professionally bound commemorative book, which includes photographs, drawings, and messages left in the aftermath of the collapse, was presented to the Town and later displayed during the annual Remembrance Ceremony. The donation ensures that these powerful tributes remain protected and accessible for future generations.
“This book is more than a collection of items, it’s a preserved piece of our community’s heart,” said Town Manager Mark Blumstein. “We are deeply grateful to KOFILE for treating these tributes with the dignity they deserve and helping us ensure that the memories of those we lost will never fade.”
