Singerfest Book Club: How to Participate

Surfside's Community Relations Board (CRB) invites you to the Book Club portion of Singerfest, a special celebration honoring Nobel Prize–winning author and former Surfside resident, Isaac Bashevis Singer. Readers and fans are invited to take part in a lively discussion led by Dr. Itzik Gottesman from the University of Texas at Austin exploring Singer’s timeless stories, rich in humor, mysticism, and human insight. The four stories that will be featured in the Book Club, "Gimpel the Fool," "Alone," "Old Love," and "The Last Demon," are part of The Collected Stories of Isaac Bashevis Singer.

Residents and the public are welcome to participate on Sunday, November 16 at 5 p.m. in the Community Center Fish Bowl—come ready to read, reflect, and celebrate the enduring legacy of one of the 20th century’s greatest storytellers.
