This Thanksgiving season, the Surfside Police Department brought holiday cheer directly to local families by delivering turkeys and complete holiday meals. The initiative reflects the department’s commitment to supporting the community and honoring those who support law enforcement every day.
Several local law enforcement agencies joined Surfside officers in the project, providing crucial assistance to ensure the deliveries reached families in need.
The department also expressed gratitude to partner organizations that helped organize the event. Special recognition went to Chief Press and Sgt. Cruz, whose organizations, the Chief Press Foundation and Closet of Living Hope, played key roles in supporting the initiative.
Chief Press said, “It’s an honor to help our community celebrate the holidays. Being able to provide meals and bring a little joy to families is what this season is all about.”
The event is part of Surfside Police Department’s ongoing efforts to strengthen community ties and give back during the holiday season.
