Chief of Police Charles R. Press hosted the Miami-Dade County Association of Chiefs of Police 10th Annual Veterans Thanksgiving Lunch at LoanDepot Park, bringing together command staff and chiefs from law enforcement agencies across the county to serve meals to local veterans.
The tradition, launched a decade ago by the Chief Press Foundation, has grown significantly since its early years.
“It’s an honor to serve the men and women who have served our country,” Chief Press said. “What began as a small idea has become a meaningful annual gathering, and I’m proud to see how it continues to grow.”
Law enforcement agencies from across Miami-Dade County participated in the event, assisting with food service and greeting veterans.
The Town extends its gratitude to LoanDepot Park, Royal Caribbean, and Starbucks for providing the venue, meals, and supplies that helped make the event possible.
