Miami-Dade County Commissioner Micky Steinberg presented a $25,000 check to the Town of Surfside during the January 13, 2026, Town Commission meeting to support improvements at Paws Up Park.
The funding will enhance amenities and overall conditions at the popular dog park, providing a safer and more enjoyable space for residents and their pets. Town officials thanked Commissioner Steinberg for her continued support of Surfside’s parks and quality-of-life initiatives.
The presentation took place during the regular Town Commission meeting held Tuesday, Jan. 13.
