As a courtesy, Miami-Dade County is sharing the following information for awareness, as Surfside residents may frequent the Miami-Dade Public Library System’s North Shore Branch.
The Library's North Shore Branch, 7501 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, Jan. 19, for scheduled maintenance and repairs. The closure is expected to last approximately eight weeks.
During this time, library services will continue via a Bookmobile in the library parking lot on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Residents may also access digital resources 24/7 at www.mdpls.org.
Surfsiders are encouraged to visit nearby library locations, including the Bay Harbor Islands Branch (1175 95th Street), Miami Beach Regional Library (227 22nd Street), and Sunny Isles Beach Branch Library (18070 Collins Avenue).
