The Third Thursdays Cruising the Globe series launched in vibrant fashion on a chilly Thursday evening with “A Night in the Americas,” an immersive night celebrating the cultures of Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico. Guests were treated to live Mexican mariachis, a captivating tango demonstration, and an energetic carnaval samba and drumming performance that filled the air with rhythm, movement, and color. Activities included traditional face painting, flower crowns, arts & crafts, as well as a Brazilian soccer experience.
Culinary highlights complemented the festivities, with complimentary offerings from Asado Events featuring Argentinian parilla-style meats, authentic Mexican tacos, and refreshing paletas from Surfside’s own Morelia’s. An adult beverage selection—including Caipirinhas, Margaritas, and red wine—rounded out the experience, making for a truly memorable kickoff to the series.
