Surfside Families Turn Out for Annual Family Fun Day at 96th Street Park

Families, residents and visitors gathered at 96th Street Park on Sunday, Jan. 25, for the Town of Surfside’s annual Family Fun Day, hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department.

The community celebration featured games, rides, music, food and interactive activities for all ages, creating an afternoon of connection and entertainment in one of the Town’s signature public spaces. Children and families enjoyed a variety of attractions, while neighbors came together to celebrate community spirit in Surfside.

Vice Mayor Tina Paul and Commissioner Gerardo Vildostegui were in attendance, joining residents and families in the festivities and showing support for the Town’s community programming and recreational initiatives. Family Fun Day is part of the Town’s ongoing efforts to provide inclusive, family-friendly events that strengthen community bonds and enhance quality of life for residents.

The Town of Surfside thanks the Parks and Recreation Department staff and community partners who helped make the event a success.
