The Town of Surfside advises residents, businesses, and visitors of scheduled nighttime utility work associated with the 9300 Collins Avenue project.
Work Schedule:
- 94th Street: Sunday, April 19 through Thursday, April 23, 2026
- Harding Avenue: Monday, April 27 through Thursday, April 30, 2026
- Hours: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Construction crews will perform underground utility work, including a water main connection. This work is being conducted overnight to reduce impacts to daytime traffic along Collins Avenue and Harding Avenue.
Traffic Impacts:
- 94th Street: Full lane closure
- Access to nearby businesses, including the bank and hotel, will be maintained
- Alley access to 94th Street will be temporarily closed
- Harding Avenue:
- Single lane closure on the east side
- Maintenance of traffic (MOT) will extend into the business district
Noise Advisory:
Residents may experience intermittent construction noise from equipment such as excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and backup alarms during work hours.
