Mayor Danzinger launched his cross-municipal traffic mitigation initiative by convening the inaugural meeting of the Barrier Islands mayors. The first monthly session was hosted by Seth Salver, Mayor of Bal Harbour, and attended by Glenn Singer of Golden Beach, Isaac Salver of Bay Harbor Islands, and Larisa Svetchin of Sunny Isles Beach.
The discussion focused primarily on traffic congestion and the immediate next steps to advance the initiative. Additional topics included e-bike and scooter safety, improving inter-municipal police dispatch communication, and launching a new 33154 water and sewer initiative.
