Town Hosts Fifth Annual Remembrance Events

The Town of Surfside came together in remembrance, reflection and unity during the Fifth Annual Remembrance Ceremony honoring the 98 lives lost in the Champlain Towers South tragedy on June 24, 2026.

Families, survivors, first responders, elected officials and community members gathered at the daytime ceremony to honor those we lost, support one another and reaffirm our commitment to ensuring their memories are never forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to pay tribute to the lives forever woven into the fabric of our community. Together, we remember. Together, we heal. Together, we carry their legacy forward.
