All Miami-Dade County residents can visit the Miami-Dade County Home Chemical Collection Centers any time during normal operating hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday – Sunday). No appointment is needed. No commercial disposal is permitted.

The Community Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day. 96th Street Park will be open from sunrise to sunset.
The Beach Lifeguard Tower will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day. The Surfside Tennis Center will be open from noon to 8 p.m. pm Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day.

Over the Christmas and New Year holidays, there will be no garbage collection on Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025. Garbage collection will resume the following days (Thursday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025). Recycling will be collected on Tuesday, Dec. 24, during the week of Christmas.
