On Sunday, April 6, the Resort Tax Board and the Miami Jewish Film Festival (MJFF) partnered to sponsor a special screening of “Bad Shabbos,” winner of the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival's Audience Award, on the beach at 93rd Street. Attendees also enjoyed complimentary popcorn, cannoli's and iced tea.
The screening, the second partnership with a major film festival in recent months following the March 9 screening with the Miami Film Festival, is part of the Board's dedicated mission to expand cultural programming for visitors and residents alike. Representatives from the MJFF were on hand to celebrate the occasion as well as members of the Resort Tax Board, Vice Mayor Tina Paul and Commissioner Gerardo Vildostegui.
