All Miami-Dade County residents can visit the Miami-Dade County Home Chemical Collection Centers any time during normal operating hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday – Sunday). No appointment is needed. No commercial disposal is permitted.

Vice Mayor Tina Paul and Commissioner Vildostegui joined community members for an engaging evening at the Surfside Police Department's "Pizza with the Police" event. Hosted at the Fishbowl Room in the Community Center on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the event welcomed residents to meet local officers, pose questions, and enjoy slices from sponsors Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza of Bay Harbour Islands and Surfside favorite Fialkoff's Kosher Pizza. Chief Henry Doce and Deputy Chief Arley Flaherty were also in attendance, emphasizing the department's commitment to community engagement. The event showcased enthusiastic participation, highlighting a strong community bond and support for local law enforcement efforts.
