The Surfside, Bal Harbour, and Bay Harbor Islands Police Departments joined forces on Thursday, October 23, for the annual Surf-Bal-Bay National Night Out, a community event promoting crime prevention and positive relationships between law enforcement and residents.
Command staff, officers, and community members gathered to enjoy an evening of music, family fun, and public safety awareness. Surfside’s own Parking Officer and DJ, JC Castro, kept the atmosphere lively with music as residents mingled with local officers, explored police vehicles, and learned more about the important work their departments do every day.
“National Night Out is all about building trust and strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the communities we serve,” said Chief of Police Charles Press. “It’s a reminder that public safety is a shared responsibility—and events like this help us work together toward that goal.”
The Surfside Police Department thanks all residents and partner agencies who participated in making this year’s National Night Out a success.
