All Miami-Dade County residents can visit the Miami-Dade County Home Chemical Collection Centers any time during normal operating hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday – Sunday). No appointment is needed. No commercial disposal is permitted.

The shoreline between 88th and 96th Street is being restored through the 93 Ocean House Beach project, in partnership with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP).Project Timeline:Due to weather-related delays, work will continue through January 9, 2026. No work will occur on December 25 or January 1. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.Project Details:Approximately 11,000 cubic yards of beach-quality sand from an upland source will be placed to strengthen the beachfront and support long-term coastal resilience.What Residents Should Expect:
