Surfside welcomed the holiday season in festive fashion at its 2nd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 7, outside Town Hall. Residents gathered with friends, family, and neighbors to enjoy an evening filled with sparkling lights, seasonal cheer, and heartfelt community spirit.
Attendees also enjoyed the brand-new Nativity Scene adjacent to the tree. The celebration featured a joyful visit from Santa Claus, a charming performance by the Ruth K. Broad Children’s Orchestra, and a selection of hot chocolate, sweet and savory treats, holiday music, and more.
The event, produced in house by staff and an array of adult and teen volunteers, was proudly sponsored by the Resort Tax Board, bringing Surfside together for a warm and memorable start to the season.
