The Town of Surfside Parks and Recreation Department is inviting local artists and painters to help restore the Town’s iconic holiday Santa decoration ahead of the 2026 holiday season.
For years, the large Santa display has brought joy to residents and visitors during the holidays. After many seasons on display, the decoration is in need of refurbishment to ensure it continues to shine as a centerpiece of Surfside’s festive celebrations.
The Town is seeking creative individuals with experience in painting, design, or restoration who are interested in contributing their skills to refresh the Santa’s appearance. This community-driven effort aims to preserve a cherished holiday tradition while showcasing local talent.
Artists and volunteers interested in participating are encouraged to contact Rudy Perez, Parks and Recreation Director, at 305-866-3635 or [email protected] for more information.
The Town thanks the community for helping keep Surfside festive and welcoming during the next holiday season.
