Florida Power & Light (FPL) will be completing an FDOT-approved project to improve service reliability in the area of 8995 Collins Avenue. During the scheduled work hours, a two-lane closure will be in effect. The overnight work begins Tuesday, Feb. 17, through Thursday, April 16. Construction will take place Monday through Thursday nights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and will involve the installation of underground electrical infrastructure.Residents may experience temporary overnight construction-related noise. Crews will make every effort to minimize disruptions, and no power outages are anticipated at this time.
