All Miami-Dade County residents can visit the Miami-Dade County Home Chemical Collection Centers any time during normal operating hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday – Sunday). No appointment is needed. No commercial disposal is permitted.

The Town’s Parks and Recreation Department will conduct its annual maintenance week beginning Monday, Feb. 23. The Community Center will be closed through Friday, Feb. 27.Staff will prioritize critical tasks early in the week in an effort to reopen the facility as soon as possible.Planned work includes pressure washing and painting; decluttering and organizing offices and rooms; maintenance on the pool deck and pump room; draining, cleaning and preparing the pool and spa; cleaning roof tiles and filters; vacuuming; and additional facility improvements.
Miami Shores Village graciously agreed to provide Surfside residents free access to the Miami Shores Aquatic Center, located at 10200 Biscayne Boulevard, while we complete our maintenance work. Call (305) 795-2241 to reserve your lane. Please present a valid driver’s license with a Surfside address or Surfside Community Center ID in order to gain access.
