Residents, community leaders and elected officials gathered Friday at the Surfside Community Center to celebrate Pride Month during the Town's Pride Flag Raising Ceremony.Acting Town Manager Mario A. Diaz and Commissioner Gerardo Vildostegui led the ceremony, which recognized the Town's commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive community.Former Vice Mayor Tina Paul and former Commissioner Eliana Salzhauer joined residents in attendance for the event. The Pride flag was raised outside the Community Center as a symbol of diversity, inclusion and respect for all members of the community.The Town extends its appreciation to the residents who attended the ceremony and to the dedicated staff whose efforts helped make the event possible. The ceremony is part of Surfside's ongoing recognition of Pride Month and its commitment to creating a community where all residents feel welcome and valued.
